A huge effort but the day finally arrived where the Clear Mind Carwash was put into action! The local FM announced it: “On 1st and 2nd August everybody can use the carwash for free.” Over one hundred vehicles reported each day and the joy and pride was profound! Since there has been a steady stream of mainly taxi’s waiting for their bath. Hurray another employment project in action!

Construction Farmhouse continues
Since 2 weeks we resumed the construction of a small supervisionhouse at the farm. The building blocks are very special, they fit into each other like Lego blocks and don’t need to be plastered. Designed by our boardmember Mr. Ask God.
Photographer Laya shoots clear mind nose caps project
The nosecaps are sewn by volunteers and sold over the counter and through the webshop. Today we reached 2400 euro from sales. They are beautiful and stylish! Today photographer Laya is making a series about the nose cap project. Her pictures will soon show on this site. Thank you Laya.
Harvest
The workers at the farm of Clear Mind dried and stored the second harvest of last year, a bumper harvest. Just now it was brought to the local market at Nkoranza. A bumper sale.
‘My First Day at Clear Mind’ or ‘Wycliff has a Roommate’
It is two weeks since Kwaku Diodu arrived at Clear Mind Farms as the roommate of Wycliff. They knew eachother, were friends. So you can imagine how the scary adventure of leaving his parents house to live on a farm ended very happy when…Kwaku saw Wycliff waiting for him at the Clear Mind gate. Kwaku has a light disability and loves to work.
New in Webshop: Ghana print Facemask
Before we knew it the Corona virus invaded Mother Earth. All we can do now is protect ourselves as best as we can. The facemask is only a very small part of the protecting measures but every little bit helps. This facemask is made of Ghana print Vlisco material and provides space to insert an extra paper napkin or tissue. Washable up to 85 degrees.

Mr. Fosu Departed
This month we heard that Mr.Fosu died. He recovered from addiction during 5 years. A succes story. Mr. Fosu died from complications of concurrent diabetes. So sorry, so sorry. Our condolances to family and friends. We came to love him dearly.
