Below an overview of CLEAR MIND’s successive DEVELOPMENT PLANS from 2019 to 2026 ending. IN 2016 the Clear Mind Foundation constructed, with the help of friends and a funding agency, a shop/meeting center in town, the first physical property of Clear Mind. In order to create more job opportunities, the team in Ghana designed in 2018 a 5 year development plan that was later extended with three years. Up until 2023 ending all developments have been implemented thanks to our Local team and their befriended experts, and thanks to the fundraising overseas. Since 2023 the Wilde Ganzen Foundation was added as one of Clear Mind’s major sponsors. Clear Minds gratitude is great.
CLEARMIND cashew FARM 2019 (completed)
A farm with a cashew plantation of 24 acres , in the rural areas 10 miles from Nkoranza city. To diversify the work and income generation by the young adults with special issues, recovering alcoholics or with mild intellectual disability.
CLEARMIND CARWASH 2020 (COMPLETED)
This main special employment project was completed and came into action in 2020/2021. The washing bay developed steadily and in 2024 gives employment to 12 persons with a mild disability. It is the main workplace of Clear Mind.
CLEARMIND RESTAURANT & VEHICLE PURCHASE 2021 (COMPLETED)
The roadside restaurant was completed in 2021 and the Nissan pickup 4WD purchased in 2022. The restaurant gave initially employment to 3 special workers but the combination of serving food and disability still carries a stigma in rural Ghana. in 2024 we are looking for a new person to head the restaurant for a new start.
CLEARMIND RESIDENCE AND SHOP 2022 (COMPLETED)
This beautiful building, consisting of 6 rooms included a separate building with 2 rooms, was designed and constructed by a well-known contractor from Nkoranza who took time to daily supervise the construction and added beautiful details like a central summerhut for meals and meetings. A shop was also opened giving employment to 2 special persons.
SOLAR ENERGY AND MANAGEMENT WASTER WATER 2023 (COMPLETED)
In November 2023 Clear Mind was the proud owner of a 20KW solar system at the carwash premises and a 5KW solar unit at the residence. Thanks to expertise of the Kapital Engineering firm from Accra who installed and maintains the units. We also bought a small land beside Clear Mind to manage wastewater and turn it into a garden.

DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2025 & 2026

2025: Purchase of small town-plot adjacent the carwash-land, in order to construct a residential area, completing the residential needs for a total of 20 special workers, 2 volunteers and 4 other workers. Begin foundation of the ‘pioneerhouse nr 2’.
2026: Completing the pioneerhouse nr 2. Residential needs of all staff and workers are completed. (Explaining the name pioneerhouse: Clear Mind rented an adjacent house, pioneer house number 1, to house some of the workers and volunteers, but the owner of the building needs it back for his own use. Therefore we plan to replace such a building in 2025 and 2026. Not yet raising funds
