Welcome to our site

Welcome to the website of the Clear Mind Foundation in Ghana, which offers sheltered work and residence to the mentally challenged in Nkoranza, East Bono and the surrounding districts.

In the About Us section, you can discover who we are, what we do, where we came from, and what we stand for. Clear Mind runs like a special family business, a family of people with a disability. We presently offer work to 14 clients with a maximum capacity of 20. Our workplaces are the Clear Mind Carwash, the main job provider; the cashew farm; the cassava farm; the agroforestry project; the beehives; and the shop and restaurant. You also see the location and meet the team in Ghana and the Clear Mind Foundation board members in The Netherlands on this page.

Read about the systematic development of the facilities under Infrastructure Development. We hope that in 2027, we will be done with further development plans as the basic infrastructure needed to serve jobs and a life to 20 special persons and their helpers will be completed.

Under Residents, you can learn more about the individual workers that form the Clear Mind family, from our first resident to our most recent newcomer.

If you are looking for a different type of holiday, where you can see a small-scale African development project in action, or if you want to explore the area from one of our guest houses or wish to volunteer with us, click on Visitors/Volunteers.

Click Newsletter to read our monthly news bulletin, which gives a realistic impression of daily life at Clear Mind and the surrounding area.

The Support Us section features our sponsors, who have generously donated their time, provided gifts, or offered financial support. This section also includes information on how you can support us.

If you wish to see the foundation’s annual reports in the Netherlands or Ghana, you can download them from the Archives section. You will also find flyers, past newsletters, and other materials here.
